  b. 22/04/1944 in Edmonton, Alberta. She married:

  b. 14/09/1936. Called “Jim” within the family. They lived in Airdrie, Alberta until 2002 when they seperated; Margaret afterwards lived alone in Carstairs, Alberta (about 15 miles north of Airdrie) until her death there on August 13th, 2013.
  Jim moved to Westlock, Alberta. He was named as co-executor of the will of his father-in-law Francis E.B. Hallowes (d. 17/6/2009). He died in Westlock, June 23rd, 2013.
   Their children are:

[AHBACB] PATRICIA MARY CATHERINE KACHUK.
  b. 8/5/1949 in Edmonton, Alberta. Patricia obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from York University in Toronto, Canada in 1981, and her Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy in 1987 and 1993 respectively, from the University of British Columbia where she was an instructor in Sociology. Her published works include “A Resistance to British Cultural Hegemony: Irish Language Activism in West Belfast” in Anthropologica, XXXVI (1994); and “Irish Ethnic Consciousness: an Anthropological View of its Awakening in Northern Ireland”, Ottawa, (1987). She retired from UBC in 2006.
    She married, 20/12/1975, at Calgary, :
[AHBACB/1] BRUCE WILLIAM KACHUK.
  b. 25/4/1950 in Toronto, son of William Kachuk and Rose Edith Kachuk née Foxall; she was b. April 16, 1923 in Smethwick, outside Birmingham, daughter of Frank Small Foxall (born July 2, 1890) and Rose Elizabeth Gill (born August 7, 1897). They met while William was serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. and was stationed at Torquay; they married in Oldbury, Warwickshire, 24/1/1946. After the War William Kachuk returned to Canada and worked as a Clerk in the Post Office, and Rose having joined him worked in an accounting office. William died 28/6/1974 in Willowdale, Ontario; and Rose 29/1/2005 in Vaughan, Ontario.
  Bruce says he knows little about his paternal grandparents, John and Maria Tkachuk, except that they immigrated to Toronto, Canada from the Ukraine in 1906; the family modified their surname to “Kachuk” after their immigration. John Tkachuk died in 1962, and his wife Maria around 1972. They had four children (all of whom are now deceased):
   - William: see above.
   - Michael; he also served in the RCAF during WWII; after the war, he married a Dutch lady; they lived in The Hague and had four children. He become a commercial airline pilot for KLM., and died some time in the 1970s
  - Olga; she married a man from Montreal and lived there, raising one child until her husband's death, after which she spent the rest of her life in Barrie, a city just north of Toronto.
- Rose; she lived all of her life in Toronto and never married.
  Bruce is currently Information Resources Co-Ordinator at the FREDA Centre for Research on Violence against Women and Children in Vancouver, B.C., with whose work Patricia is also closely associated.

THE CHILDREN OF RICHARD BEADON HALLOWES AND IRENE ELIABETH HALLOWES née GARRETT

[AHBADA] ELAINE SIMON. She is married to:

[AHBADB] LEONARD HALLOWES. He is married to:
[AHBABA/1] DEBRA (DEBBIE) ROLOF
Both were at Sangudo High School. Alberta, late 60's/ early 70's.

When he died Richard Hallowes had two grandchildren, Chris (Jamie) Hallowes and Jenn (Matt) Brymer; and three great-grandchildren, Lily and Dean Brymer and Dan Hallowes; just now the Compiler is not sure from which of the above siblings they descend (except, obviously, Chris and Dan Hallowes). All these particulars are drawn from Richard's obituary. for which my thanks to Bruce Kachuk. The whole family is now (2017) living in Spruce Grove, Alberta.

THE ONLY CHILD OF MICHAEL DOUGLAS HENDERSON AND ERICA MILDRED HENDERSON née HALLOWES

[AHCBAA] JULIET RACHEL ERINA HENDERSON
  b. in London 8th March, 1972, and moved with the rest of the family to the U.S.A. in 1978. She graduated MA from UCLA in Spanish in 1998, did post-graduate work in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese there, and taught Spanish at Westridge School for Girls in Pasadena, CA, where she also coached tennis and basketball; living with her partner, Stephanie Thomas, and their two dogs, Oscar and Rooben, in Burbank, CA.
  Juliet and Stephanie have two daughters:

   Juliet writes again, 8/11/2006: “Stephanie and I have moved (along with our two daughters and two dogs!) to Lakeville, CT where I am teaching Spanish at The Hotchkiss School. We live on campus in a faculty apartment in a 10th and 11th grade girls' dormitory!"

After taking a First Class degree in Classics at Bristol University (BA Hons) he was called to the Bar in 1995 from the Inner Temple and joined the Chambers of John Coffey Q.C. in Temple Gardens. His practice is exclusively within the Criminial Justice System, both as Prosecutor and Defender; he is a member of the Criminal Bar Association and the Southern Eastern Circuit. He has appeared in the Court of Appeal alone more than fifty times.

  Chania works in Interior Design, running her own company, Razmataz Interior Decorating and Home Staging; check out her Biography on ZoomInfo. She also works part-time for Blake at SmallPC.com doing his payables and receivables, as Interior Design income fluctuates. She is currently pursuing her art further, designing and making herself a line of handmade wool pillows that are 100% natural, and also does fibre art. She recently had 3 pieces accepted into a juried art show. See her blogspot.

She is currently living in London with her boyfriend, and working in Wandsworth city council.”

b. 1984. “Natalie came over to the UK in 2004, worked as a groom for a year, then went back home and started working with horses in Mozambique. Things went pear-shaped there and after a year of almost constant malaria, she went back to Zimbabwe and has been working in Harare, breaking and bringing on various peoples' horses ever since. She is a very talented artist, and.....I'm not quite sure what she is going to do next!”

I am living with my aunt ( my mother's elder sister) in Oxfordshire at the moment, and in a bit of a career crisis, after having an options drought since I got back from the States, to being completely flooded with things to choose from now, everything happens at once, and trying to decide which is the most direct route to my goals is very difficult when I don't have my sage of a Father guiding my every step!”

   He alternated between living with his parents and his grandmother until his parents divorced, after which he lived with his father and stepmother until he left school. He then entered the Royal New Zealand Navy where he underwent officer training and specialized as a Supply Officer. Whilst in the RNZN he served on the following Her Majesty's New Zealand Ship's: Tamaki, Otago, Taranaki, Waikato and Philomel.
   After his marriage he resigned his commission and joined the New Zealand Ministry of Transport as a Traffic Policeman, where he taught traffic education and road safety to children and adults.
   Upon leaving the Traffic Police, Christopher studied computer programming, business law and accounting at the Auckland University of Technology. He then worked for various New Zealand companies in New Zealand and Hong Kong as a computer programmer and systems analyst, and was the software architect for a software project in Kentucky U.S.A. While in the U.S.A, Christopher studied at the Pacific Western University.
   Upon returning to New Zealand he worked as a freelance computer system designer and developer, working primarily in the insurance industry. For a while he was a director of Distributech Ltd, a software development company, specializing in Delphi and Java programming languages. Currently Christopher is the Director of Software for Safer Sleep Ltd., a medical software company. He is also studying law part time at the University of Auckland Law School.

b. 12/9/1963 in Hellensville, New Zealand. After attending Westmere and Ranui Primary schools, Leanne moved to Whangarei at the age of 10.Finishing school at 15 years old, Leanne went to work at the Racing Stables in Takanini, Auckland.After a short time she moved back up to Whangarei, where she worked at the Whangarei Hospital Laundry, working in almost all positions of the department for 5 years.
Leanne then moved onto working at Bradbury Wilkinson in the Finishing Department, again working in all the positions of this department, then moving onto the Security Department as Receptionist. She worked here for a total of 5 years.
Affco (Meat Works / Slaughterhouse) was the next port of call, employed as Production and Shipping Clerk, but again working in all the positions of the office, then incorporating the position of Inventory Controller, backup cover a the Supervisor of the Stores Department, then moving office to the Freezer Department, where she also covered the Supervisor of the Freezer Department. After 10 years of service with this company, Affco closed down.
After a serious accident falling off a horse, Leanne had to change career, so she trained to be a Real Estate Salesperson.

Max was homeschooled by Catherine for two years, then started secondary school at Greenwich Academy in September 2017; but for reasons not understood by anyone the head of Greenwich Academy was sacked, and a person who had a background in running Borstals replaced her and introduced an unnecessarily harsh disciplinary regime, so Max is back being home schooled by Catherine. Maia attends a local primary school and is doing very well there.

Dougal is a Rock Musician; in 2011 he was playing Bass + Electronics with Sammy T and his Tight Trousers (Leader: Sammy Taylor, Vocals) in The Bahamas. During 2014 he was with the Dutch band "My Baby", touring in New Zealand and Australia. However during 2017 he has been slowly reducing his touring with "My Baby" while he and Sanneke set up a small eco-tourism resort in the remote village of Kan in southern Hungary. The nearest large town is Pécs, about an hour's drive away. Meanwhile they still keep on their flat in Amsterdam.

Following his marriage he returned to the UK for some years, gaining experience and formal qualifications, during which time Phillipa worked in a bank. In July 2008 he moved to the United Arab Emirates where he worked on a number of important projects, before returning with his family to South Africa in the next year. Unfortunately this Concept proved to be ahead of its time and development ceased after the introduction of Broadband. The family returned to the UK in summer 2005 and is now living in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire. Rowley joined Sunrise Senior Living, a US based senior care home operator. He stayed with this Company until September 2009, during which time the business grew from 5 to 29 care homes in England; but the financial and banking crisis of 2008 hit the company badly due the the leveraged natured of the operation. He now works for Wood Group Kenny, a Group of Engineering companies specialising in Subsea Projects for the Oil, Gas and Windpower industries, based in Staines. His work takes him to Russia, Norway and Houston amongst other places.

He then went to Lancing College 1993-98; after a gap year during which he went on a round-the-world singing tour with the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, he went to Durham University to read Classics, but left in 2001. He then joined the John Lewis Partnership and is now on their Management Training Scheme.
  Toby continues to be musically active and is now singing as a bass with the outstanding London Chamber Choir Chantage.

Rachel was one of the bridesmaids, and the reception and ceilidh after the wedding were held in a marquee in a field not far from New Farm Road. It was a lovely day ending in a striking sunset and everyone had a wonderful time.

Peggy is the same age as Toby and their November birthdates are less than a day apart. So both 42. She was estranged from her father from an early age and her mother, who had mental health issues, died in 2021. She knows a couple, Gil and Sally, who she calls her �surrogate parents� that she met through the Baptist Church, who befriended her when her first marriage, when she was twenty, collapsed. They are wonderful people, and Gill gave her away. Peggy has just completed a speech therapy degree with Reading University last year and is now in a practice.
   Their marriage was solemnised in the magnificent Abbey Church in Romford; afterwards there was a grand reception in the grounds of the nearby Cromwell Arms Hotel.

She worked briefly for the Southern Daily Echo, then entered a three year Graduate Training Programme with the Press Association. In 2005 she went to BBC Regional Television based in Walsall, on a contract from the PA. She next worked for the French TV Company AFX; then transferred to Reuter's, firstly in Singapore, and now (2018) in the U.K.

  Alan was initially a Project Manager for the Post Office, involved in the introduction of new Mail Automation technology in an area covering the SE of England plus London, East Anglia and the Midlands.He then set up his own company, No. 9 Consulting (named after his position in rugby!), consulting in Change Management in financial institutions such as Norwich Union and the Royal Bank Of Scotland. In 2008 he secured a full time position with RSA ( formally Royal and Sun Alliance) a General Insurer as a Process Improvement Consultant. Following redundancy in 2012 he went back to self employed consulting for a short period working for Allianz. In Nov 2013, he secured another full time role with AIG �the Worlds largest insurer� as Regional Process Manager covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) where he remains (2014).
   Susan worked for some years as a Project Manager for Air Miles (part of British Airways), then in 2006 joined The Thales Group, a major supplier of Defence Equipment; she is currently (2014) working as Project Director for Bounty, a Company which provides advice on Pregnancy, Child birth and Parenting.
